The Northern Village of Green Lake
Green Lake is a northern municipality with approximately 500 permanent residents. We are the third oldest settlement in the province of Saskatchewan. It is a village steeped in the rich history of the Metis people and the furtrade that founded our nation. We obtained status as a village in 1982 when the first Mayor and Council were elected locally to govern the village and surrounding land. Currently we provide water and sewer services, road maintenance, recreation facilities, a volunteer fire brigade and solid waste collection for village residents.
